1.What Is CVD?
Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) is a viral disease that infects a wide variety of animal families, including domestic and wild species of dogs, Big cat ,and primates. The virus infects the gastrointestinal, respiratory and central nervous systems.

The indian council of medical research (ICMR) Confirmed that five of the lions died from a contagious infections caused by canine distemper virus(CDV),Samples from 21 sick lions turned positive.3.Relocation is essential

The virus spread through air and through contact with infected bodly fluids. it can also be spread from food and water contaminated with disease these fluids. The virus also spreads if an animal eats the meat of an infected animal. in the past, it wiped out 30% of the total population of lions in serengeti National Park in East Africa. |
